This privacy policy describes which personal data is processed when you use this website and when you order. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where the GDPR applies, its requirements.
01
Who is responsible
The operator of this website is responsible for the data processing. Name, address and contact are at the bottom of this page and in the imprint. Send privacy requests to the same contact.
02
Which data is processed
Depending on how you use the site, this data arises:
- When you visit the website: technical access data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type. It appears in the server logs of the hosting provider.
- When you order: details such as email address, chosen plan, time of order and payment status. Payment data such as card numbers is processed by the payment provider and is not stored on this website.
- When you contact us: the information you give us in your message.
- When you contact us on WhatsApp: your phone number, the name shown in your WhatsApp profile and the content of your messages, including when you order a plan or the trial access there.
04
What the data is used for
Personal data is used for these purposes:
- Processing orders and providing the service
- Support and answering enquiries
- Operating and securing the website
- Meeting legal obligations, such as accounting
05
Disclosure to third parties
Data goes only to service providers who need it for these purposes — in particular the hosting provider and the payment provider — and to authorities where there is a legal obligation. Personal data is not sold and not passed to third parties for advertising.
When you write to us on WhatsApp, for example to order a plan or the trial access, WhatsApp, a Meta service, also processes your phone number and your messages under its own privacy terms, and data may be processed outside Switzerland. We receive your message and phone number and use them only to answer your request and process your order. Using WhatsApp is voluntary.
Where the GDPR applies, processing rests on performance of the contract, on legitimate interests in running the website securely and on legal obligations.
06
Disclosure abroad
Service providers may be based, or run servers, outside Switzerland. In that case adequate protection is ensured, for example by an adequacy decision of the Federal Council or by standard contractual clauses.
07
Retention
Personal data is kept as long as needed for the purposes described. Under Swiss law, business records such as invoices generally have to be kept for ten years.
08
Your rights
You can at any time ask for:
- information about which data is processed about you
- correction of inaccurate data
- deletion or restriction of processing, unless a retention duty applies
- a copy of your data in a common format
- objection to a processing activity
09
Requests and complaints
Send your request through the Contact page to the address at the bottom of this page; proof of identity may be needed. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch).
10
Changes to this privacy policy
This policy may be updated when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies; the date of the last change is shown at the top of the page. For orders, the refund policy applies as well.
