Salt is the smallest of the three Swiss operators with its own TV product, and its TV offer is easy to describe: one bundle, one box, a list of options. This post reads Salt's pages (state: October 2026) and shows what is included, what costs extra and what to check.
01
What Salt Home includes
Salt Home combines internet, TV and fixed-line telephony, with over 300 TV channels and the TV Box included. Salt shows a promotional bundle whose conditions depend on whether you also have a Salt mobile plan, and a larger Salt Home+ bundle that includes some of the options listed below. The current prices are on Salt's page.
02
The Salt TV Box
The Salt TV Box is built on Android TV. Salt says it includes Google Assistant and Chromecast and gives access to the Google Play Store, with apps such as Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video pre-installed. Salt says that new Salt Home customers receive it with the bundle, while existing customers can order it as an additional box.
03
Replay, recordings and other TV options
These are the options on Salt's pages. Which are included depends on the bundle:
| Option | With Salt Home | With Salt Home+ | What it does |

| Replay Max | Option | Option | Replay without the additional ads on some channels |
| Recordings Max | Option | Included | Raises recording capacity to 1,000 titles |
| Multiroom | Option | – | TV on an additional TV |
| Sky Show Standard | Option | – | Sky's series and films |
04
International packages
Salt adds foreign-language channels as packages for your existing Salt TV subscription, ordered in the Salt TV app or in a Salt store, with termination at the end of the month on one month's notice:

05
Who Salt TV suits
Salt TV suits you if you want one bundle with the box included and are happy with the options model. If you record a lot or want replay without extra ads, add those options to your total. If you need a language package, check that it exists in the list above before you decide.
06
What to check before you order
Salt ties its promotions to bundle conditions, such as a Salt mobile plan, so read what applies without them. Compare the total with other providers in Swisscom vs Sunrise vs Salt vs Zattoo, and note that Salt's TV Box page lists over 280 channels while its Salt Home page says over 300: use the channel list for the channels you actually watch.
